This May Be a Good Fit If…

  • You have a new puppy and want to start off on the right foot
  • Your dog needs help with manners, impulse control, or everyday household skills
  • You want support with leash skills, recall, public access foundations, or real-life reliability
  • You’re looking for more individualized guidance than a group class setting provides
  • You want a training plan tailored to your dog, your goals, and your lifestyle

Private Training Sessions

Private sessions are ideal for dogs and handlers working on foundation skills, manners, life skills, and practical real-world training goals.

These sessions may include things such as:

  • Sit, down, stay, and place
  • Loose leash walking
  • Recall and engagement
  • Household manners and impulse control
  • Leave it / drop it / polite greetings
  • Public access foundations and distraction work
  • Confidence building and enrichment-based skill development

During your initial session, we’ll evaluate your dog’s current skill level, discuss your goals, and build an individualized training plan designed to fit both your dog and your day-to-day life.

This option can be a great fit for:

  • Puppies and adolescent dogs
  • Dogs needing foundational skill-building or tune-ups
  • Teams preparing for more advanced training goals
  • Select therapy or public access foundation work

Board and Train Program

Our Board and Train Program offers a more immersive level of support for dogs needing a structured environment to begin or accelerate progress.

Because long-term success depends on what happens at home, this program also includes one-on-one transfer sessions with the family to help ensure skills carry over into the dog’s everyday environment.

During their stay, dogs are immersed in a carefully curated setting designed to support learning, reduce stress, and set them up for success.

Apex Canine accepts only one dog at a time into our Board and Train program. Each dog is provided their own private kennel space to allow for appropriate rest, decompression, and individualized care.

Due to limited availability, and because we only accept one dog at a time, booking well in advance is strongly recommended.
